The Freshman story basically sold me. At least this tumblr blames Limp Bizkit for ruining rock radio. Two weeks ago, Pitchfork blamed Pearl Jam! I’m not a Pearl Jam fan, but I’m still kind of furious about this review.

Thus far there isn’t any overlap with what I’m doing here at DYC—there’s a lot of R&B and hip hop in addition to the alternative stuff—but it’s kind of an interesting parallel.
