Unrest were not exactly flashy, but they certainly wrote a number of catchy, perky songs that are always a lot more dark and horny than they usually seem at first blush. This mix is not quite an overview of their catalog — it’s focused primarily on the band’s later, pop-centric later years, and pretty much omits their early noisy/lo-fi period entirely. The early stuff may as well be a different band with the same line-up and name — I don’t think you’re missing too much, honestly. Enjoy.
